100-1038 1950 XK Alloy #670078.This car is currently being restored by Doc's Jags to original specifications. (chassis and drive-train and engine) Body being painted in Antwerp Belgium. Stay tuned for continuous updates on the restoration....

Doc’s jags has discovered during test driving that several items that were supposedly accomplished by a European restorer were done incorrectly and so these galleries show the rebuild of both rear end and transmission as well as replacement of rear leaf springs with new ones.  Test driving at doc’s jags is a very exacting process so that when our customers receive their jaguar it will be reliable.

222-2031 1937 SS 100 Pre-war Roadster being restored by Doc's Jags workshops. This car will be offered for sale as soon as she has been completed. A very rare original. Please note the expertise of our craftsmen. This 70 year old beauty is being done correctly since no less than four of our technicians have the necessary experience to do the job properly. This is despite the fact that Doc is the only one of us that was born before this SS 100 was Manufactured. You will note that we had started the completion several months ago (see dates on photos). This is due to the fact that we originally had not intended to list her here, since she is owned by us. However, upon recent reflection, we have reconsidered this, thereby allowing you, our viewers, to experience the fun of following yet another of Doc's Jags fine creations.

Doc's jags doesn't quite know yet how to approach such an original gem without killing its fantastic patina, but will probably replace the top (in light tan stayfast and leaving the original green headliner) to include all original, re-chromed "lead pin-beading", will probably replace the seats with (same color) leather and get her mechanically perfect.

I'll take any opinions from our viewers on this, with thanks in advance.
