Dear Bob:
I would like to thank you and the World of Jaguars’ staff for
the restoration work on my 74XKE Roadster purchased from Doc’s
Jags. Your honesty, attentive detail and integrity made the experience
worthwhile.
During the final test drive, my car lost oil pressure and ruined the
engine. Without hesitation, you rebuilt the engine at no charge to
me.
Your high standard of business get my complete recommendation to anyone
seeking restoration on any Jaguar of any age. I will personally talk
to anyone to affirm this.

Re Purchase of Jaguar XKE
I would like to show my appreciation to the Bob and Todd and the other mechanics
who worked very hard to complete the restoration of my car. While the condition of
the body of the car when I purchased it represented several challenges, world of
Jaguars made sure hat the work performed as done properly and to my
satisfaction, even when it was not in their financial interest to do so.
Mechanically the car is superb!! The mechanical work that was performed by World
of Jaguars is top notch and the carburetors that were outsourced through World of
Jaguars work perfectly and are beautiful to look at.

Thanks for the photos. It's really great being able to track the progress of your work on my car via these pictures. You've got a terrific group of mechanics; knowledgeable and pleasant to work with, led by a great manager in Bob. Keep the communications coming.

Dear Doc:
Awesome website! I've gone over every inch and it remains stellar while
even improving, not an easy feat when you're starting from such lofty
levels. I've always maintained that what you present to the outside world
reflects one's competence.
Do wonder if all those endorsements from Tom DeLay and crew are going to
help these days. I presume most of your customers must be Republicans. I'm
leaning these days towards Libertarian. Just let me drive my Jags and leave
me alone! Loved the 2005 Challenge tour.
Thank you so much for the updates on the 120. Plug away! The facility is
magnificent and I'm amazed at how many projects you have ongoing. So glad
you're retired so that you can take it easy.
Very best,
Chris

Doc,
The car is awesome. The lines are even better looking in person. Drove Michael to school in it, then drove it to work. Michael (6 years old) was almost as excited as I was. John (4 years old), after seeing the car, said “the front seats are where the back seats should be, because the engine is so big!”
I noticed the break-in sticker (after a couple of violations of the 2500 rpm limit). Do you know from what mileage the break-in should be measured?
Kim was very professional.
Thanks for all your help.

Doc
a quick note to thank you and the team for your time yesterday, and for
making me feel comfortable with my purchase. Your operation there reminds me
very much of my own business back in the UK, a certain amount of organised
chaos combined with a lot of passion and professionalism. It is no wonder
that you have such a reputation.

Dear Doc --
The red XK 150 S roadster was the hit of my son's prom! His friends loved
it. At the dinner before the dance his friends were lining up to get a
ride. Then later that night, as my son and his date were leaving the dance,
they found several of the limo drivers that had chauffeured his classmates
standing around admiring the car. The drivers wanted to know all of the
details -- the model, the year, where we bought it, how well it drove, etc.
They even had a conversation about it going over their walkie-talkies!
And of course the most important part was that his girlfriend had a
wonderful time being seen riding in it. That she liked that car so much was
a little bit of a surprise. She's not particularly interested in that sort
of thing, though clearly the Jag is special. It made what was for them both
a special evening even more special.
So thank you so much! I do appreciate you and all of your staff working
extra time to have the XK delivered to us in time for his big night. I know
that quality takes time and the quality that you put into the restoration
clearly shows. The car looks lovely and runs beautifully.
It was great to meet you in Scottsdale and have a look at your workshop. I
hope to have the pleasure again sometime again in the near future. In the
meanwhile, keep up the good work. Clearly you know and love these cars.
Thanks again,
Meade Morgan

I bought a 1973 xke from Doc in june 2004 and it needed some
restoration so it is being restored as we speak. I bought the car from
pictures on the internet and had talked to doc about the details and he
seemed very nice. A few weeks ago I was in scottsdale, and went over to Doc's
Jags to take a look at the car. I was pleasantly surprised how clean the
facility was and how professional and knowledgeable his staff was. After
meeting Doc, I was thoroughly convinced that he is one first class
gentleman. It has been an absolute pleasure to deal with him and look
forward to my next car from him.

To: Doc
Dear Doc;
Just a note to say that our Doc's restored 1959 XK 150 OTC is as gorgeous
as you promised. We are also very impresses with the tightness of the
suspension and steering systems, as it handles like a new vehicle.
Thanks to you, we feel like this car is truly art in motion.
We also appreciate how Doc's Jags was willing to shoulder all of the
over budget expenses in order to make this beautiful vehicle as best
as possible.
As a result of this pleasant experience, there ia a possibility that
we my consider purchasing an XKE restored by Doc's Jags.
Thank you Doc, Todd and all of the talented employees of Doc's

Re: 73’ Jaguar XKE
To: Doc and Crew
Doc,
Thanks for sending the final invoice for the Jaguar. I would like to
thank your staff for going beyond the call of duty on the repair and
finish work on my Jag. I only asked for certain things to be repaired
and detailed and much more was done to the tune of $11,000. I don’t
know how you do it, but I thank you for your generosity and your love
for the automobiles. Talk Soon!

Dear Doc:
In April of 2003, I contacted you to find a late model XJS because
of your reputation and a referral from South Florida Jaguar Club. You
found a 1986 XJS with a rebuilt engine and transmission. After closer
inspection, it was found that the engine was less than satisfactory.
With the effort of your shop and Todd's expertise you were able to deliver
an engine that is as good as new.
I would like to thank you for spending a considerable amount of your
own funds and shop time to make the car right. Please feel free to use
me as a reference.

Dear Doc,
Please know how thrilled I am with my "brand new" 1962 E-Type!
In a total cliché, words cannot describe the beauty of this
vehicle. What I appreciate mostly is your unwavering dedication to
the restoration project. No detail was too small for you to get perfectly
correct. As you kept me up to date via photographs and phone conversations,
I am sure you solved two dozen problems for every one you mentioned
to me. Besides being flawless visually, this vehicle is a joy to drive.
The engine performs perfectly and the throaty roar when it first turns
over is exhilarating! To say this car is a head-turner is an understatement.
Should you wish, I will be happy to provide the highest reference
for you and your marvelous Jaguars. Please do not hesitate to have
any potential clients contact me directly either via e-mail
(Please contact Doc for Chris's contact information)
Very best,
Chris

Doc,
Just writing to say that I received the car and wanted to thank you
for your honesty, it came in as described. Purchasing a car, sight unseen,
is a very venerable and traumatic experience for the buyer. Through
your experience and patience you were able to make this transaction
positive.
I've enjoyed driving and owning seven Jaguars over the years so its
apparent that I'm hooked on these automobiles. Therefore, I'm sure I'll
be calling you in the future.

Dear Doc,
Although we wrote to you early on in the restoration of our XK 120,
the
experience we have had is worth thanking you for again.
Having never ventured into the restoration arena I must admit I was
rather
hesitant to take the plunge. As you know, last spring I was searching
for a
particular type of car that would serve me as a driver but also satisfy
my
desire for something unique. I discovered a very enticing possibility
while
searching the web and found myself at "Docs Jags." The first
time exploring
your site I realized that you were a man of information and also one
who had
a true love for the Jaguar. I immediately felt comfortable e-mailing
you for
some information on the XK 120 that caught my eye. I never would have
imagined that within hours of my e-mail that you and I would be chatting
about this car. You took so much time to answer all of my questions
that you
made me feel as if I was your only customer. To my surprise you asked
for
only a small deposit if I was interested in holding the car.
After taking a day to decide that I wanted to pursue this car, our plans
were
made to fly to Chicago to see it up close and personal. We thought that
nothing could ever be quite like that Saturday afternoon that we spent
together. We got to know you, the shop, the way you do things and had
some
very lively conversation about life in general. You gave us your game
plan
for restoring the Jaguar but customized it to our needs. We left Chicago
knowing that something very special was going to happen over the upcoming
months.
As the restoration of our Jaguar has been completed we can say with
absolute
certainty that something very special did indeed happen. We watched
a really
nice car transform into a magnificent car and a work of art. Every step
of
the way you provided pictures for us to watch the progress as it was
happening. We would turn on our computer every day with the anticipation
of a
new set of pictures. It was not only exciting to see the pictures, but
because we are in New Jersey and you are in Chicago it offered us a
comfort
level that would not have been possible over the distance.
When we received the final invoice for the car we were also so impressed.
Every hour, part, service, checkup, test drive and the like were accounted
for. There was no question between the pictures and the complete tracking
of
time that every service that was promised was absolutely completed.
The
icing on the cake -- the warranty of all of your work.
We are so very excited that you have made our dream come true in the
form of
this beautiful car. We look forward to driving and showing it. Sharing
the
picture history of the restoration will add to the pleasure of showing
it.
We thank you again for all that you have done on our behalf.
Very truly yours,
Stephen Lafetra

PS: Make sure you send a supply our your big blue "Doc's Jags"
cards so we
can share them.

.
Dear Doc,
Although my dream in the form of a beautiful old Jag is still being
restored, I wanted to take the time to thank you for my experience
so far.
As you know, I have been searching for the "perfect" car
to add to my collection for some time. Kathy and I go to every car
show or auction that time allows and I am an avid reader of numerous
auto magazines and of course, Hemmings. I had just recently started
to look on the Web for sites that were interesting. Well, one Sunday
afternoon there popped up this incredible vision of "Doc's Jags".
I began this wonderful journey of the Jaguar the likes of which I
have never seen. Little did I know that my "perfect" car
was waiting at Doc's for me to find it. As I scrolled through the
site I was just so impressed by the amount of information that you
offered and the fun that it was to share your worldly experiences
with your Jags.
Alas, there it was- a beautiful XK 120 in white, calling my name.
I remember thinking that it would be lucky if this car was still available
and I set out to e-mail you. I could not believe that just a few hours
later I was speaking to you. I was so impressed with the fact that
you contacted me so soon, to say nothing of the fact that we stayed
on the telephone for the better part of an hour. When I returned to
my computer just a few short days later there was a complete collection
of pictures of this automobile. When I spoke to you at that point
to let you know that I was very interested, you asked me to send a
deposit-it was so minimal I was impressed with your generosity. You
always had the time and patience over the course of the next several
weeks to answer all of my questions.
Kathy and I decided that we should hop on a plane to Chicago to see
this car. Just before getting ready to leave you called to inform
me that you found that the engine was bad and needed to be replaced.
That was the bad news. The good news was that you would replace the
engine at a price too good to be true.
Once we were in your shop we knew it would be an interesting experience
but we had no idea how much fun we would also have. The five hours
that we spent with you on that Saturday was unforgettable. We shared
great stories and learned so much about your cars and you. We got
to see the car first hand and the icing on the cake was to sit down
with you and have you work so hard to make my dream come true. You
went over every inch of the car in detail and explained exactly what
you would be doing and why. It was very clear to Kathy and I that
you do what you do purely for the joy and satisfaction of matching
up the right person to the right car.
It is a pleasure to find such an honest and straight-forward individual
in the antique car business who does what he says when he says. I
would feel confident recommending "Doc" to anyone because
of my positive experience.
We look forward to the day when the car arrives with much anticipation
because we know that it will be from "Doc" and that makes
it very special.
Very truly yours,
Steve Lafetra
PS: The Web site is worth experiencing even if you are not car shopping!

Dear Doc,
Thank you for your letter inquiring about the '73 XKE V-12 roadster
I purchased from you.
The car is certainly everything you described. From both a mechanical
and a cosmetic perspective, it is in excellent condition as you promised
me, and the restoration work is top notch.
My experiences in the past in buying cars sight unseen has always been
that the seller greatly exaggerates the condition of the vehicle. This
I have come to expect. In this situation, however, you are truly unique.
The car was exactly you thought would fit my wishes, did some restoration
work without my asking to bring it up to the level that you knew I wanted,
and delivered exactly what I was looking for.
If you're looking for a Jag to add to your collection, there is only
one way to get what you want. CALL DOC.
Thanks again for everything.
Yours truly,
Michael J. Bronson, M.D. |

| Doc,
Several years ago, I purchased a black 2 + 2 from you, and you asked
that I send you a photo when I got it finished. The car is about 95%
done, and as you can see it is now golden sand. The tan interior gave
way to biscuit, although not offered in 67, it was clearly the color
that looks best with the car IMHO.
Thanks for the opportunity of doing business with you.

| Doc:
My car arrived yesterday - it is gorgeous! You're right, the pictures
don't do it justice. I'm very pleased, and very proud to own it.
I gassed it up and Evelyn and I went for a 30-mile cruise last evening.
Terrific Tennessee weather, curvy country blacktop's - a delight!
Thank you for all your efforts in putting this together for me.
Also, as I thought, the tonneau cover was in the trunk under the bag
of old parts. So, the cover you still have must belong to someone else.
I'll call and catch up on the news with you.
See you later,
Lynn Cunningham |

I finally got my XKE on July third. It is perfect, it is gorgeous,
and it is a head turner. I can not thank you enough for you're many
services. If it were not for having to deal with truckers everything
would have been excellent.
Your advice and direction made this purchase so painless I would never
think of consulting anyone else when I purchase my nest Jag. When I
found your web site I thought I would give it a try, since my experience
with automobile web sites has been less than satisfactory I did not
expect much. I entered my request and amazingly within hours I was in
contact with the "Jag Doc" and viewing several cars that fit
my requirements. That day we settled on an automobile and I sent a deposit.
I never thought it could happen this rapidly. Your command of the product
and all aspects of the delivery needs and requirements gave me a great
deal of confidence in dealing with you. It is not everyday I will send
a large deposit to someone I met on the Internet. Your list of letters
from satisfied customers also make this easier. That is one of the reasons
I am writing this letter to hopefully add some confidence to other to
make the decision to deal with "Doc" and get the car of their
dreams.
In addition to the automobile your recommendations of John Strauts
And Ken Dougherty has provided me with two professionals I will continue
to use with this and other cars. John's insurance quote were hundreds
of dollars less than I could come up with and thus I have now given
him my other vintage car to insure. I was very fortunate that my car
was in Houston at K & K Vintage Motor Cars. Ken and Kathy are fantastic.
There advise is sound. They do quality work and do what they promise,
when promised. I am especially thankful to Kathy for letting me know
right off the bat that truckers do not always tell the truth. I kept
that in mind every time they told me there was a delay in getting the
car to me.
I want to thank you for a wonderful experience and finding the car
I wanted in a rapid and very professional manner. You can call on me
anytime for a recommendation.
Sincerely,
Richard Scott
